Three channels that do three different jobs. Meta creates the demand, Google Ads captures it, SEO ends up owning it. Most agencies sell you whichever one they are best at. We work out which ones your trade actually needs, and we can show you the numbers behind that.

Real Australian search volumes.
Three channels, three jobs. Each one covers the gap the other two leave open.
META ADS
Reaches people in your suburbs who have not started looking yet. Plants the idea and builds familiarity with your name, so when they do search, yours is the one they recognise.
GOOGLE ADS
Catches them the moment they start searching, including the ones Meta warmed up. Highest intent, highest quality, and the fastest of the three to turn into booked work.
SEO
Takes over the same searches Google Ads is paying for, permanently and for free. Slowest to arrive, cheapest to keep.
Google Ads tells us, within about six weeks, exactly which search terms turn into real bookings. We then point SEO at those terms instead of guessing. Meta retargeting picks up everyone who clicked a Google ad and did not book, so you are not paying for that click and getting nothing. And as SEO starts ranking, we pull Google Ads spend off those terms and put it somewhere new, so the paid bill goes down over time rather than up.

In Brisbane, agency fees usually work one of three ways: a percentage of your ad spend, a flat monthly retainer, or a base fee plus a percentage above a threshold. Percentage models get expensive as you scale and quietly reward the agency for spending more of your money. Ask which model an agency uses and why before you ask for a number, because the answer tells you whose side the incentives sit on. Separately, budget enough ad spend for the data to mean something: in trades where a click costs seven to twelve dollars, a very small budget buys too few clicks to learn anything from.
Whoever will tell you which channels not to buy. Most agencies recommend the thing they are best at, which is fine until your trade does not suit it. Ask any agency you are considering how much search demand exists for your service, in actual numbers, and what they would do if the answer is not much. The ones who cannot answer are guessing.
It is worth it when there is more demand than you can capture on your own, or when there is not enough demand and you need someone to create it. It is not worth it if you cannot handle the enquiries you already get. Fix the phone before you spend on marketing.
No, and we will say so. A locksmith with 49,500 people a month already searching can build a very good business on capture alone. A bricklayer with 1,600 cannot, and needs Meta doing the heavy lifting. Most trades sit in between and get the best result from all three, staggered rather than launched at once.
Because Google Ads tells you within about six weeks which searches turn into booked work. SEO takes three to six months to rank for anything, so pointing it at unproven terms is an expensive guess. Run paid first, learn from it, then aim the slow channel at what already works.
On the terms it ranks for, largely yes, and that is the point. As organic rankings arrive we pull paid spend off those keywords and move it somewhere new, so your paid bill goes down over time. It only works if the same team runs both, which is the main argument against splitting channels across two agencies.
Two things. It puts you in front of people in your suburbs before they start searching, so your name is familiar when they do. And it retargets everyone who clicked a Google ad and did not book, which is otherwise money spent for nothing. For trades with thin search demand it is the main channel, not the extra.
Paid channels produce enquiries in the first few weeks. SEO takes three to six months to move and six to twelve to become a real part of your lead flow. Anyone promising organic results in thirty days is either targeting terms nobody searches or about to do something that gets your site penalised.
Yes. It means we meet Google’s requirements on certification, spend and account performance, and it gets us support access that helps when something breaks. Treat it as a baseline rather than a reason to hire anyone.
Yes. Google Ads and Meta accounts are set up in your name and your billing with us added as a manager. If we part ways you keep the accounts, the history and the learning your budget paid for. An agency running your ads inside its own account is holding your data hostage.
